Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cahit GÜRAN attended the "Incsos VII Karabakh International Social Sciences Congress" held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, between 2-4 June 2022. Important issues such as the Khojaly Massacre and Karabakh were discussed at the congress, which was held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mustafa ŞENTOP, President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, and Prof. Dr. Sahibe GAFAROVA, President of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in cooperation with the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy and the International Balkan University.

On the same days, our Rector had a meeting with the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan Teymur Musayev and the Rector of Azerbaijan Medical University Prof. Dr. Geray Geraybeyli about the possibilities of cooperation. He also visited Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University and met with Rector Prof. Dr. Gülçöhre Memmedova and University Officials and signed an academic cooperation agreement.
