Our graduate student from the Institute of Health Sciences and Cancer Institute, Department of Clinical Oncology, Dr. "TSIF: Tumor and Respiratory Monitoring Phantom Team", captained by Taha Erdoğan, came first in Turkey at TEKNOFEST Black Sea.
Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology, Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Gökhan Özyiğit and graduated from the Institute of Health Sciences and Cancer Institute, Department of Clinical Oncology. "TSIF: Tumor and Respiratory Monitoring Phantom Team", captained by Taha Erdoğan, came first in Turkey at TEKNOFEST Black Sea.
TSIF stands out as a completely patient-specific sensitive tool developed to investigate the effect of tumor movement in the lung and to test the reliability of dosimetric quality, and as a study like no other in the world.
“TSIF” designed by Taha Erdogan; It qualified for the finals in the Health and First Aid category in the "Technology Contest for the Benefit of Humanity" organized as part of the TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival. "TSIF", which was deemed worthy of the "Best Performance" and "Premier Presentation" awards at TEKNOFEST Rize, became the first in Turkey by eliminating its rivals from many national and international universities in the grand final at TEKNOFEST Black Sea Region held in Samsun. In his speech, Taha Erdoğan, who received his award from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the ceremony held in Samsun, thanked Hacettepe University Cancer Institute, Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit, which supported him throughout the study and competition process, and Prof. Dr. Thanks to Gökhan Özyiğit.
