Hacettepe University ranked in the world rankings in 13 fields in the evaluation made according to 62 fields of science in the 2020-2021 world field ranking prepared by URAP (University Ranking By Academic Performance) which shows the success of universities worldwide.

In URAP's 2020-2021 field ranking, 1752 universities from 90 different countries were evaluated. In the "URAP Field Rankings", in which the academic performance of the universities for the last 5 years is evaluated, the impact of their articles and citations in the relevant field and the international cooperation rate are used as criteria, Turkish universities took place in 24 of 62 fields of science, while they were in 26 of 61 field rankings last year. While the number of universities in our country in at least 1 field ranking was 36 last year, this number decreased to 31 in the 2020-2021 ranking.

While Hacettepe University was ranked in the World Lists in 13 fields, the fields with the highest number of Turkish universities were engineering, medicine and health sciences.

Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry entered the list of "The Best 200 Universities in the World" at the 154th place and achieved great success as the Faculty with the best degree in this field.

Hacettepe University has managed to be among the world's elite universities by placing 288th in the world rankings in the field of medicine and health sciences, and 1st among Turkish universities. It also ranked 453rd among universities in Turkey in the field of psychology and cognitive sciences in the URAP Ranking.
