The Hacettepe Awards, which started to be presented with the Hacettepe University Award Directive adopted with the decision number 92-9 in the session of the Hacettepe University Senate on January 8, 1992, are designed to support the scientific studies of researchers from any university, to share their superior qualities and achievements with the society and to show respect for their achievements or work.

The 2020 Hacettepe Awards found their owners at the 2021-2022 Academic Year Opening Ceremony held on October 25, 2021.
