UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) is a global initiative which has been operating since 2012, under the auspices of the United Nations and the supervision by Prof. Dr. Jeffrey Sachs from Columbia University, to develop cooperation with stakeholders and mobilize scientific and technical expertise on Sustainable Development. This initiative is represented in Turkey as 'SDSN Turkey' with the support of various universities and organizations under the leadership of Boğaziçi University. Current member universities in this network include Abdullah Gül University, Bahçeşehir University, Bilkent University, Boğaziçi University, Ege University, Istanbul University, ITU, Kadir Has University, Muğla University, METU, TED University and Yıldız Technical University. Our application in 2020 coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Öztürk has been accepted and Hacettepe University has become a member of UN SDSN as the 13th member as of 2021.
